We have been trading coal since 2012, when our company supervised the import operations of this material from the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. Initially, the logistics included rail transport to Europe, in the next phase we also started the sea transport to designated ports in Northern Europe.
The next stage in the development of the large-scale steam coal trading project was the moment when we started the storage operations of the purchased coal in Poland for its screening and redistribution to many CHPs and heating plants in the country. The final stage of deliveries was carried out by rail and trucks, at peak times, we used up to 400 cars per week.
As a result of the experience gained, our company began organizing the coal deliveries from Asia, South Africa and South America with the vessel lots from 10 to 30 thousand tons each. At the same time, we continue to coordinate rail deliveries and deliveries by road to the customer’s gate. Currently, as a result of the sanctions introduced by European Union ( Q4 2022), ACCURETTA TRADE has stopped importing coal from the Russian Federation, focusing on cooperation with Kazakhstan and South America suppliers.
Our company operates only in the B2B model, supplying the steam coal to large business customers with their own heating units and their own power plants in Poland and other European countries. Coal is always regularly tested, and its fraction adjusted to the needs of end customers. Our model assumes a comprehensive delivery to the customer’s site, using road or rail transport. We grant to our best customers an attractive credit terms for each delivery.
